Shane and Jackson were jumping on the bed the other night and shane fell off and bumped his head. 5 minutes later he had a massive bloody nose- he was fine but was visibly upset. He came running to me and we took care of his nose, but he was very concerned about his stuffed animal softy. Jackson ran down stairs and got paper towels to help clean up the floor and told Shane "Don't worry Shane, I'll take care of Softy for you", I'll help Daddy. Shane was freaking out over softy but Jackson and Daddy saved the day!
The school had a field trip to the police station yesterday the kids got to touch handcuffs and see the police dog- very exciting!
Jackson found a penny- not knowing what kind of money it was he ran through all the coins- Look Shane, I found a quarter, a nickle , a dime, a penny! Lets put it in our money jar.

winter olympics
The Olympics have started and yesterday we watched some skating and skiing. The boys were enthraled and liked watching the mens skating. In fact, they both got up and started "skating" and spinning themselves. Fun to watch. When someone would fall, Jackson would say," that's o.k. when I fall on the ice, I just get back up and keep gliding".
This morning they were playing hide and seek from Trish- this basically entailed hiding under a blanket for 20 minutes until Trish got there and then screeming when she found them. Happy Monday!

Winter Activities
We've had a cold and long winter so far here in New England with lots of snow. While playing in the snow is great and lots of fun it is only something we can do for a few hours at a time, so we have been busy with other things. Winter activities this year have included: Ice Skating, Karate and Swimming! We've even made it to a Dinosaur show, Mommy will post pictures soon.
