Snow before Halloween!

Yes, we had a snow storm before Halloween this year! Some how luckily we were spared a lot of the storm, we got a few inches of snow but did not lose power! Here is my little dragon shoveling the snow in the yard. (Shane)

discovery museum

Auntie and Abby came to Boston for the boys 3rd birthday party and on Friday we went to the Children's Discovery Museum in Acton. We had a great time running around the house and Abby was a huge help. We lost Jackson for a few minutes, but we found him down at the Train Station. Jackson was "buying train Tickets". he said that he needed two tickets, but the child giving out the tickets only wanted to give out one ticket per person. Jackson insisted on getting two tickets and when he finally received two tickets, he ran off to find Shane. And said, Shane I got you a train ticket Shane.

Cupcakes

This Friday is the boy's birthday and to celebrate they made cupcakes with Trish to bring to school. I can't believe that this starting already. Any how! Daddy joked and said that he was going to eat the cupcakes and Jackson yelled, NO! they are for my friends!

I love how they have friends at school. Today they were dressed in their rain gear going to school and were very busy patting the green and red kitty cat that was under the dining room table.

Weekend

We had a busy weekend and in some ways I"m sad to see it end.
Yesterday was Aunt Dottie and Uncle Bill's 60th wedding anniversary and we were fortunate enough to be invited to the celebration! The boys spent their afternoon looking for dragons and bringing anyone who would listen to them around with them. They had all of the College age kids in search of dragon's and Shane and Jackson made a "house" in the restaurant lobby that they liked to bring people into. Last night, however wasn't so fun. Both boys woke up screaming for their lives around 11pm and they woke daddy up- need I say any more on that subject?

Today was family photos, we went to a park in Wellesley and hopefully we got some good shots. The boys did not nap all weekend and I for one am getting ready for them to go to bed tonight! and get back to work in the morning. At the moment they are out shoveling leaves, yes, they started bringing grocery's into the house and then I looked out the kitchen window and they had their snow shovels and were shoveling the leaves. Last I saw of them they were walking around the block with daddy and the red wagon picking up leaves! Tomorrow is another day.

Circus

Today we went to the cirucs, the Ringling Brothers best show on Earth and wow was it cool. Both Jackson and Shane were amazed by the show, at times it was a bit loud but we had an amazing time. Daddy's favorite part was the motercycles in the cage, mommy liked the tightrope act and Shane and Jackson liked the baby elephants!

Today was Baby Ryan's second birthday and ELMO came ! Shane and Jackson were a little hesitant at first but then they warmed up to the big ELMO. When Elmo left they continued to ask where was Elmo, is that Elmo's house? and then they wanted to go down stairs to find Elmo. All in all it was a good birthday.
