Author's Day at Wellington School

As stated above, we had a chance to visit the Brown Bears and Purple Cats Classrooms for the end of school. Shane was excited to have mommy and daddy there but did not want to get his picture taken. Jackson on the other hand, was happy for any photo opportunities.
Shane at his animal poster. Just a coincidence that both Shane and Jackson did a Shark poster.

Jackson's shark poster featured the shark eating Mrs. Campbell (she went diving with Sharks in South Africa- Jackson even added a little blood!)

Shane's weekend News book. - notice he now writes Shane Bryant...

Below are images of the bricks we purchased in the boys memory so they will be forever at the Wellington School- in the front of the school walk way.

Jackson and Mommy Selfie- Jackson took the picture.

Jackson was the star student the first week of school- here is his Student of the Week poster.
Jackson in the brown bear class room. Mrs. Cox was a wonderful teacher.

Hard to see but Jackson is just laughing in this photo and I loved his smile.

Student care was a great support for us this first year! Thank you Mr. Dave and the student care team. We are off to the summer adventures at Running Brook Summer Camp and all sorts of fun in NH.

Lots of Lasts and Firsts here....

We are at the end of school! I can't believe it, Kindergarten is OVER:-(  Shane and Jackson had a great year, here are some mug shots of them on their last full day of school.
Shane wearing the shirt that Mrs. Koonce's daughter made for him. Shane lost his first tooth at school 2 weeks ago and got to go to the Nurse. His friend Reid also lost a tooth that day, he got a little case for his tooth and the tooth fairy came as well- he got 2 gold coins!
Jackson on the last full day of kindergarten. Jackson has been very busy make bracelets and rings for me out of little elastics. In fact, next week their cousins are coming from Ohio and both boys are busy making bracelets for the kids.
The usual kitchen island picture. We were discussing all the things that their cousins like and the boys came up with the following: Zach- likes legos and football; Abby likes horses; and Katie likes books and cooking. They can't wait until their cousins get here. Baby Reid comes before the Ball kids but it hasn't fully clicked that Reid is also their cousin.

Soccer is over, above is a picture of the team at Comella's Pizza in Belmont Center. The coaches did their annual lunch for the kids and everyone had a blast. Shane was very busy pouring drinks and delivering pizza slices to his friends. While he couldn't play this season due to his concussion, he did get a soccer medal. Shane wore his medal to school along with his Nasa hat for 4 days straight!

Shane's book that he put together at the end of kindergarten with Mrs. Debello.

 How to build a snowman:

Finally: Decorate the snowman

Both boys have come a long way with their writing and reading. Mommy and Daddy got to go to school for Author's Day and see all of their projects and work. Pictures to follow.

Father's Day was fun. It rained most of the day but we took Daddy and Grand Pa to Not Your Average Joe's for dinner and then went home and had homemade cake!

Mug Shots at Payson Park

We went to Payson Park the other day- the boys told me that the park is for babies and that they wanted to go to Joey's park in stead, but since we just were at Joey's park in the am we went to Payson. Here they are looking very happy to be at Payson :-)

 Jackson on the round thing.

Shane looking very happy to get his photo taken...

Memorial Day 2015

We spent Memorial Day with the Cardinelli's as we always do. Since our patio is torn up, Michelle offered to have us over to their house. Here are the kids at the Malden Parade- Jason and CarolAnne in the back (Looking very excited to be with us). Jackson, Shane and Ryan waving flags in the front row. Cute parade in Malden then we went back to Everett for a pool party and BBQ. The boys had a blast- they brought over water guns, and water balloon making materials and it was water fun all around. Uncle Larry got thrown into the pool once or twice as well.

Note to my boys- May 2015

Dear Shane and Jackson-
I just feel compelled to write this down- I LOVE YOU SO MUCH IT HURTS SOMETIMES!
You are both growing up so fast and I see it every day.
Yesterday when I came home you had on your Boston Red Sox Hooded Towels- you were Jedi Nights and you had your light sabers tucked in your pants. SO CUTE I couldn't stand it. You wouldn't let me take a picture but time is going by so fast I can't believe it.

At dinner, we have actual conversations (well sort of) about school and activities and then in the next moment you are both still fighting for my lap and mommy snuggles! Last night Jackson did a backwards somersault- I thnk it was a fluke- you were on the bed goofing around but it was still really cool and Shane loved it as well.

Shane is doing great- we got clearence from the Neurosurgeon to start doing light activity and the hand doctor said the fingers are good to go! We go to the brain clinic next week.

Just wanted to put it in writing for you how much you both mean to me and how much joy you bring me!!!! I love you so much I can't even express it- you are mommy's sun, moon and stars, that means you are the world to mommy.

Love always-
Mommy

Jackson and Shane playing Labryinth, notice the hair sticking up- this was pre-hair cut.

Jackson and Shane helping mommy weed the garden beds. Both boys were very excited to help Mommy weed and pull stuff out of the ground. They even wore their bike gloves so their hands would not get dirty.
Mommy spoke at an International Clinical Research Conference in Boston and met up with her friend Karen from Quintiles. Here is Mommy and Karen taking a selfie- we posted this photo to Facebook and all of our old friends from Quintiles connected with us.
Shane, climbing a tree as usual. Here he is with Gabriel- Gabriel is hoping the fence while Shane is already standing on top.
Mornings are mommy time. Mommy drinks her coffee and we play games, talk and hang out. The boys got Jr. Monopoly for Christmas and they love collecting the money, we play an abbreviated version of monopoly- basically just handing out money. But I do have to say that both Shane and Jackson are getting good at counting- adding and subtracting. Jackson especially- he can count by 10s to 100.
On the play structure at Joey's park. (This was pre-concussion for Shane)
Uncle Adam, Bailey and Uncle Dave at their home in Boston right before they moved to London.
Jackson sporting his new bike helmet and riding his old bike. I think it is going to take a while for everyone to get comfortable again riding their bikes.

Cleaning Daddy's truck with the water gun.
Smiley Shane- always happy in a tree.
