First Weekend of January

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. We tried a music class (again) at Powers music school and Jackson tried to fall asleep while Shane played with the instruments- result- I might sign just Shane up for Music class and leave Jackson at home. We did lots of playing but the interesting part came on Sunday. We did all of our household chores (daddy went to home depot  3 times before 10am) and at around 1pm it was time to do "something" both boys had been inside all morning and were getting a bit antsy. So daddy decided to go to the play gym- usually a big hit with both children, but Shane said that he wanted to stay home with me. I told him that I couldn't really play b/c I was doing paper work in the office and he said that was "o.K. with me". So Shane stayed home with mommy. I worked on the computer while Shane made some books with the stapler and then he played Monkey and I was the zoo keeper in the office. I finished my work right around the time he was done playing monkey so we went downstairs and played with the bat fort and trucks. Boy, having just one child around sure was fun and if I might say, easy to entertain! We'll have to split them up again some time soon.

Jackson woke up this morning and told me that supper last night was delicious! those ravioli's were delicious!
