After that first dreadful night, the boys have started to enjoy Karate. Here are some pics of their adventures.

Jackson
Every morning the boys ask who is coming today, who is going to take care of us?
Then they ask who is the Parent Helper at school? I can't always answer the parent helper question, but I can certainly answer the first question. This morning right after Trish walked in the door Jackson decided that he wanted to wash his animals.

Mother's Day 2013
Mother's Day is this Sunday. And on Wednesday of this week I was talking to Trish asking her what she was doing for Mother's Day etc.when Jackson came running over saying mommy we are making you a plant with seeds! Trish told him Shhh Jackson, it's a secret.
Well yesterday I came home from work and found this on the steps:
With Trish's help the boy's planted me flowers in this beautiful planter. The planter has their footprints all over it. I LOVE IT! thank you boys. !

T-ball - night 1 a flop
T-ball started on Tuesday night and we were unsuccessful.
Daddy is the coach, and he did a GREAT job as coach- he played catch with the kids and had them running the bases and had the team organized like no one else could! Go Daddy.
This is the first time that Jackson and Shane ever really played T- Ball. Jackson had a hard time hitting the ball and he did not like that, in fact when he was done trying to hit he threw the bat down and said that he wanted to go play at the playground. He then proceeded to take his baseball shirt off and went to the playground. Mommy didn't know what to do- chase Jackson and create a scene or just let him go? Mommy chose the easy way and just let you go. Shane did a great job at bat and hit the ball hard and far and ran around the bases. But after a few times at bat he decided to go to the playground as well. So we were a flop at T-ball and mommy and Nana let the boys have it about not participating! Hopefully the next game will be better.
They are doing a great job at Karate now and have gotten two stripes on their belt.

Shane- April 2013
Dear Shane-
As I write this letter you are becoming more of a 5 year old than a four year old, my little boys are getting older! We were at a party this weekend and you were one of the older boys there, it is hard to believe that you are closer to 5 than 4. But you are enjoying it. You love to ride your bike when ever you get a chance and you seem to favor your bike over your scooter.
You just got a hair cut this weekend and here you are with Jackson at the park by Grandpa's house- you are in the jean jacket. You seem to like karate and T-ball. You have a good time playing with the other kids and running around, hopefully this continues! And school, you love going to school and writing letters to your cousins. Every day you come home with envelopes full of pictures for your cousins.
In the morning you and Jackson are allowed to watch 30 minutes of the ipad and you fight over who will get to use the heavy blanket. Sometimes at night you also want the heavy blanket. Here you are above with the blanket- for some reason you like to put it over your head and you look like a little boys when you do this. You my dear Shane still love a good cuddle and at night you always ask me for a snuggle which I am happy to give and you are also happy to get a snuggle from softy as well (pictured below).
I love you Shane Kilday, you are mommy's sun, moon and stars.
Love-
Mommy
Jackson April 2013
Dear Jackson-
Well I think it is safe to say that Spring is definitely and finally here! Or at least we would like to think it is. With the arrival of spring comes a lot of playing outside after school and on the weekends. You love to play out side and go to the green park and on Friday's your favorite park to go to with Nana is the wooden park.
Even when we are running errands on the weekends we still get to the park- above you are in the orange jacket on the tire swing with Shane- Push higher mommy, higher!!!!You still love school and are doing well, I think you especially like learning your numbers as everything you see you start to count: one, two, three, four etc. You are doing a great job with your numbers- sometimes you count up to 12! And painting, any spare moment we have "I want to paint mommy please" but sometimes I leave that as a special project for you and Trish to work on.
You continue to eat lots of different foods and you'll eat almost all of your meals and you continue to grow a lot. We have to do your growth chart this week to see how much you have grown. Karate is going well and we'll see how T-ball goes, hopefully once the games start you will enjoy playing with the kids and things will go better than the first night.

I think the biggest thing we have discussions about is who is going to sit where in the car. You and Shane both want to sit behind Daddy and that causes fights every day. But aside from that Little guy, you still love batman and your stuff. You have a drawer full of "stuff" next to your bed that you treasure. You are one cute little boy and I can't believe that you are getting closer to 5 years old rather than 4 years old! One last story before I sign off. We were at a party this weekend and the day after the party you asked if we could go back to their house for another party because you had so much fun! You make fun where ever you are. I love you Jackson Reid. You are mommy's sun, moon and stars.
Love, Mommy

T-ball and Karate
T-ball started last night, it was the kick off party. Shane thoroughly enjoyed himself, played with the other kids and played ball. Keith took them as I had something for work Keith reported that Jackson cried the entire time and wanted to go play on the play ground. It was a rough night for daddy as the coach and as the dad.
