Our Weekend

We had a busy weekend at the Bryant household. Mommy and Nana took you both to the zoo on Friday- it was a busy field trip day for schools, so the Stone Zoo was busy- we saw people from St. Catherine's School- this is the Parish were mommy and daddy were married- it is a beautiful church in Somerville. Shane was very taken with the flamingo's this trip and kept coming back to them, Jackson and Nana saw the snake get sprayed with water and move all around which he found very interesting. We went to the bird show and you got a chance to see hawks, chickens and parrots! We had lunch at the zoo and you both wanted to play in the water at the zoo which wasn't going to happen! A big event at the zoo this time around was the amusements- you both went on the train for the first time- Jackson smiled the entire time and Shane cried the entire time- not sure why but you didn't like the train very much Shane- you wanted to go on the round about ride. Jackson also went on the kids merry go round and Shane wanted to play on every ride that was too big for him.

Saturday morning was a Daddy day- it rained all day so the playground was out of the question, but you did got to the indoor playground in Watertown and it was a big day. Shane, you went inside the train blow up house and went down the slide! Jackson wasn't too keen on it and stayed outside the blow up train.

Grandma and Grandpa came over for a visit and on Sunday we went to their house for a visit as well. Grandma had her refrigerator stocked with treats for you - juice boxes, fruit cup, crackers etc! You also played with kitty- FINALLY- you were able to pat the kitty- you were both on cloud nine after patting the kitty! Your language is coming along great! Jackson, when we were leaving you said unprompted: "Bye Grandpa Bill".

Some other things you say: "I Like Fruit"
When you see a photo of yourself and I ask who is in the photo you say- YOU!
